International Food Fair
About This Spot
Stepping into the International Food Fair feels like stepping into a quietly vibrant crossroads where the city’s diversity comes alive through its flavors. Nestled in the heart of downtown Vancouver, this food court hums with a steady, inviting rhythm—a blend of hurried lunch-goers and leisurely diners finding a familiar comfort away from the city bustle. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet thoughtful, grounded by bustling chatter and the occasional sizzle from nearby kitchen stalls creating a genuine neighborhood vibe.
This isn’t just a typical food court; it's a collective mosaic of cultures that invites you to meander from one culinary tradition to another without leaving your seat. You might start your meal with something comforting like the gently spiced butter chicken or a warming bowl of Japanese ramen. Or maybe the charm of richly layered stews from Persian kitchens beckons you, followed by light, fresh notes of lemongrass chicken or the satisfying simplicity of a well-crafted turkey sandwich. Each stall offers a unique slice of home for someone, whether it’s the comforting chickpea curry that brings back memories or the carefully balanced Xian rice noodles that surprise with their depth.
While the space isn’t flashy, it offers a sense of ease and inclusion, with plenty of seating that encourages sharing both food and conversation. There’s a palpable friendliness that radiates from both the staff and the regular visitors—a shared respect for the authenticity and care woven into every dish. It’s easy to see why people return here, appreciating consistent flavors that are thoughtfully prepared, often family-run, and deeply connected to cultural roots.
For those who like to beat the midday rush, arriving just before the crowd gathers allows for a quieter moment to soak in the different aromas and stories that each menu carries. Whether you come alone or with company, International Food Fair offers a small but rich world of tastes and textures that feels less like grabbing a quick bite and more like discovering a curated gathering of global kitchens nestled under one roof.

Ate here in June 2022 with my wife. Nice place. Clean. Friendly. With a variety of excellent cuisines of various nationalities.

Pretty good food considering it's a food court. Quite a bit of selections.. from Vietnamese to Japanese to Korean to Indian and a sandwich place too. It can get busy here, so come at 11:45am to beat the rush! Tried the pho for the first taste, and it's decent sized for $15.50. Will definitely try other restaurants next time.

Been here twice. It’s a small food court with lots of seating area. There are Persian, Korean, Indian, and more food options. So far I’ve tried the Persian and the Korean food and both were good.

! PERFECT ! I always go to "India Abroad" in international food fair. And it always tastes perfect, no regret. The quantity is less though but its fine. But the taste is awesome. The Samosas even tastes great. But the favourite of all is the "chickpea curry". It reminds me of India whenever I eat here. ! PERFECT !

I love the vietnamese and korean food here. There is the bubble waffle which is really good too. The housekeeping lady is hard-working. She does good job on cleaning so the washroom is always clean. I give a five!
